The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior/Associate Network Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an independent professional capable of managing complex network tasks, from configuration to advanced troubleshooting. You will play a key role in ensuring the high availability and security of our enterprise network infrastructure. This position also involves mentoring junior engineers and contributing significantly to the team's operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi architectures, ensuring they meet performance and security standards.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting for L3/L4 incidents and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.

  • Manage and optimize firewall rules, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and QoS policies.

  • Lead change management activities, including planned maintenance, migrations, and firmware upgrades.

  • Conduct capacity planning and network performance tuning to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior Network Specialists.

  • Integrate and manage network monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of relevant professional experience as a Network Specialist.

  • Strong expertise in routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, HPE).

  • Deep knowledge of SD-WAN, VPN, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF.

  • Proficiency in Wi-Fi design and management (Aruba, Cisco).

  • Professional certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP-ENT are highly preferred.

  • Medium-level ability; can create structured documents, basic spreadsheets, and presentations with some guidance.

  • Proficient collaboration skills in shared digital environments (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and beyond).
