The Role

We are seeking a skilled and independent Mid-level Full Stack Firebase Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for independently designing, developing, and deploying robust full-stack applications leveraging the entire Firebase and GCP ecosystem. This role is for a proven professional who can take ownership of complex tasks, mentor junior developers, and contribute significantly to project architecture. You will be a key player in our projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications using a wide range of Firebase services.

  • Take full ownership of implementing and managing data models in Cloud Firestore and Realtime Database.

  • Architect and write secure, scalable back-end logic with Cloud Functions for Firebase.

  • Utilize Cloud Storage, Firebase Hosting, and other GCP services to manage and deploy applications.

  • Integrate and manage Cloud Messaging and In-App Messaging to enhance user engagement.

  • Contribute to and maintain front-end applications using modern frameworks like Next.js, React, Angular.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize application performance, and ensure security.

  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing code reviews and technical support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

  • Proven proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in a modern front-end framework.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with the entire Firebase ecosystem, with a solid understanding of its core services.

  • Experience with Cloud Messaging, In-App Messaging, and Genkit is highly desirable.

  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and experience deploying applications on GCP.

  • Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical tasks.
